CONGRATULATIONS
to the winners of the
TRILOBITE CONTEST!

If you submitted answers to me, thank you for your participation.

The skillful and knowledgable winners of the prizes are listed
among the prize descriptions shown below.

Please scroll down to the contest questions to see the answers.

1st Prize
FRANK HABETS
Frank Habets (one of the cofounders of the Yahoo Trilobite Club) answered 19 of the 20 questions flawlessly. He will receive a printed and autographed hardcopy version of "Guide to the Orders of Trilobites." He is also eligible to receive the
Nice double Cedaria minor specimen
shown here

(scale in mm)

HOWEVER
Frank tells me that he doesn't need the specimen (I can only imagine how nice his Cedaria minor specimen looks!) and graciously makes it available for me to award to the 2nd place winner:

2nd Prize
John A. Spina, Jr.

John Spina, Jr. is the other cofounder of the Yahoo Trilobite Club! (is it really any surprise?) He got 18 of the 20 questions perfectly correct, and will also receive a printed and autographed hardcopy version of "Guide to the Orders of Trilobites" and will get the double Cedaria specimen that Frank waived (unless you have enough Cedaria specimens too, John!)

3rd Prize
Michael W. Kieron

Michael Kieron submitted answers that were also excellent, and actually matched the total correct points of the 2nd Prize winner. However, his submission was a few days later. He will receive a nice single Cedaria minor specimen, and I offer the hardcopy of the "Guide" to him also.
