Convention Meeting!
The line to receive your official Convention Car began at 5:30 pm and
initially it looked like another long wait but once the doors opened, the distibution was so efficient
that the line just EVAPORATED.... Thank you, Rock Cramer!
This left time for a few last minute autographs and casually socializing with all of the folks we see only once a year.

Long time friend, Anothony Mendoza, Three Time Downhill Champ,
placed second this year. I know he'll be back!

The Mattel Designers gave out little somethings to the maker of their favorite Customs.
Following the awards, Larry Wood presented a slide show featuring the Mattel Design Center in LA. The Mobilia folks have some of the slides on their site (see my links).
After Larry's presentation, the Marketing Rep, Barbara Lindquist,
and the Designers Dave Weise and Michael Heralda answered questions for a while.
