Diagnostic Characteristics:
The T42 has been found in a variety of colors and conditions with several pieces in near mint condition.
Unlike domestic produced T42's, the underside of the running boards are unpainted.
The original top is believed to be black in spite of the white interior.

History:
The first known T 4 2 appeared on eBay in early 2004 but did initially not sell.
As with other castings, people were still skeptical of the authenticity of the piece.
It was later purchased directly from the seller.
A second T42 sold on eBay in early December, 2005, painted in ametallic green,
a color also seen on the Seasider and the Cockney Cab.
Although it is in rougher condition, it clearly showed traits of a CIPSA made car.
T42's have now been found in four paint colors, all with white interiors.
