Diagnostic Characteristics:

The Rocket Bye Baby uses the 1973 "Shell Promo" version of the casting.
Approximately 11 pieces have been found in three different enamel colors.

• Front: Medium Caps
  
• Rear : Large Caps

History:

Around 2004, a brown enamel Rocket Bye Baby sold on eBay.
The general concensus was that it was a repaint of some sort.
It is now evident that it was a CIPSA car. Since then a number of CIPSA Rocket Bye Baby's have been found.
Each of the three colors is known from more than one example.




CIPSA dark blue compared to the two different Shell Promo blue colors, clear glass, white interior.





The CIPSA Rocket Bye Baby has all capped wheels with medium caps in front, large caps in the rear.
