Diagnostic Characteristics:

The Cockney Cab is the most common casting of the CIPSA redlines with over 15 known pieces.
The rivet spins are usually notably splayed and the zamac is unplated.
Most are in poor condition however, several of the Cockney Cabs have survived in near mint condition.
It is common for the bumper ends to be broken off and missing.

History:

The first known Cockney Cab appeared on eBay in October of 2004.
In May of 2005, three more Cockney Cabs appeared, one in mustard, one in metallic green and the third in metallic red.
A fourth color, blue appeared later.A total of 18 are known as of May 2008.
